Safest Driving School Policy

Safest Driving School is licensed as a driver training school under the Motor Vehicle Act of British Columbia division 27.

Safest Driving School comply with every aspect of the Code of Conduct. Please click on the below link to read the code of conduct.

Driver’s License

1. Students must present a valid Learner British Columbia Driver's License (BCDL) or Driver's License, including a foreign driver's license with a BCDL number that has been issued by ICBC. During the driving lesson, students must keep their physical license on them at all times.

You will not be able to drive our cars if you have a license from another country that is not, recognized by ICBC. This will ensure that our vehicles are covered by full insurance coverage.

No driving lesson will be delivered without providing the driver license.

2. The actual driving time will be 50 min for 1hr lessons.

3. The actual driving time will be 80 min for 90 min lessons.

4. All lessons will be individual, one-on-one, unless both the school and the student agree to additional person being in the car, and their reason for being there. There will be a max of three in the vehicle during the student's lesson time; one will be observing from the back seat.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

1. If you want to cancel or reschedule a driving lesson, we require at least 48 hours notice. If you cancel with less than 48hours' notice, you will be charged $40.00.

2. If you cancel less than 24 hours before your scheduled class. You will be charged the full value of the lesson.

3. Students may request a refund of the package only after the first class. In cases where the student requests a refund of the package, the student will be charged for each individual class taken from the package and the remaining value of the package will be refunded to the student.

4. The academy can cancel your lesson with NO refunds, if the student is suspected of being under the influence of Alcohol, drugs or using foul, abusive or aggressive language.

Late show and No show

1. If the instructor arrives at the student's location and the student does not show, the lesson is forfeited, and there will be no reschedule or refund of the lesson fees.

2. If you are within 15 minutes late, you will receive the balance of your scheduled lesson and charged for the full lesson.

3. If you are late beyond 20 minutes, the instructor will leave and you will not be refunded for the Lesson.
